Lie 1) Godhead- The Godhead is not three persons it is a unity manifested in three roles to humanity. Matthew 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in [1] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Lie 2) The Church- The UPC are the only people with the full truth. 1 Corinthians 12:12 or just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ.
Lie 3) Salvation- No salvation outside the UPC. 1 Thessalonians 5:9 For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ
Lie 4) Babtism- Babtize only in the name of Jesus, if not you will not be accepted into Heaven. Matthew 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Ephesians 2:8-10 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
Lie 5) Tongues- Speaking in tongues is a necessary indication of a real conversion. No tongues= no salvation. 1 Corinthians 13:1 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 1 Corinthians 14:18-19 18 I thank God that I speak in tongues more than all of you. 19 Nevertheless, in church I would rather speak five words with my mind in order to instruct others, than ten thousand words in a tongue. 1 Corinthians 14:23 23 If, therefore, the whole church comes together and all speak in tongues, and outsiders or unbelievers enter, will they not say that you are out of your minds?
