Mormons lies Refuted

Lie 1) Source of Authority- There are four sources of divinely inspired words: The Bible, Book of Mormon, Doctrin of Covenants,and The Pearl of Great Price.The Canon of Scripture was not closed when the Bible was complete Revelation 22:18-19 18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.

Lie 2) God- God became God by righteous living and persistant effort. Revelation 1:8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

Lie 3) Jesus- Jesus is God but anyone can become God. Genesis 3:4-5 But the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. 5 For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” Genesis 3:14-15 14 The Lord God said to the serpent,“Because you have done this,cursed are you above all livestock and above all beasts of the field;on your belly you shall go,and dust you shall eat all the days of your life. 15 I will put enmity between you and the woman,
and between your offspring and her offspring;he shall bruise your head,and you shall bruise his heel.”

Lie 4) Man- Adam was actually God and the father of Jesus. Romans 5:14 Yet death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those whose sinning was not like the transgression of Adam, who was a type of the one who was to come.

Lie 5) Sin- Man will be punished for there own personal sin and not Adam's. Romans 5:12 Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned.

Lie 6) Holy Spirit is not a peron but an impersonable force. Acts 13:2 2 While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”

Lie 7) Christs Atonement- Christs Atonement was essential but not sufficient.It does not pay for personal sin. Romans 5:10-11 10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. 11 More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.

Lie 8) Afterlife- There are different levels of kingdoms in the Afterlife. Romans 9:22-23 22 What if God, desiring to show his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, 23 in order to make known the riches of his glory for vessels of mercy, which he has prepared beforehand for glory

Lie 9) Jesus incarnate is a result of a physical relationship between God the Father and Mary. Matthew 1:20 But as he considered these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.

Lie 10) Jesus, Lucifer, and all the demons, as well as all mankind, are actually all spirit brothers and sisters, born in the spirit world as spirit babies to our man-god Heavenly Father and his goddess wives. Matthew 24:11 And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray.
